still did not look convincingly feminine. He finally recognized that this lack was largely due to his boyishly flat chest, where his mother on the other hand, was femininely rounded.

But as to how to correct this mistake, he had no idea, and his mother had deliberately made no suggestions. Although she was fully conscious of his conspicuous lack in that department, and how this could so easily have been remedied.

After a quick lunch, Jan resumed his household tasks, and which he continued until almost dinner time. About an hour before dinner however, and now in a slightly more kindly tone, his mother, after first acknowledging and approving of the work he had done that day, suggested that after showering, he should now change into some other outfit, as was her customary prac tice at the end of each day, and that he should now plan to do likewise if it was his determination to now be dressed at all times as a woman.

Jan gladly followed his mother's advice and immediately went to his room to change. On undressing, this time Jan left his nylons attached to the girdle, and as a consequence did not experience the same difficul-

Although his feet now ached from having all day worn pumps with unaccustomed two inch heels, he still chose an attractive pair of black patent leather pumps with even higher, or three inch heels, under the assumption that he would not have to be on his feet very much that evening. To his delight he found that he could manage this extra height without too much difficulty or discomfort, through having gotten used to the others,

Reiterating her previously announced position that she would not for a minute tolerate such sloppy dressing, she again sent him back to his room to make the neces-
